Crow headed khandro

mKha’ ’gro

The crow headed khandro (mKha’ ’gro – dakini) is holding a sword as well as a skull bowl. This symbolises Shérab – penetrating insight, as in the sword of Jampalyang (’jam dPal dByangs – Manjushri). She is blue representing the space element, and the transmutation of ignorance and indifference into ubiquitous intelligence.
